In Niger, close to 2,000 young soldiers have officially joined the ranks of the armed forces. The recruits were presented to the national flag on Thursday, marking the completion of their intensive military training.

This group represents the second contingent of 2024 and is expected to play a key role in strengthening national defense and safeguarding territorial integrity amid ongoing regional security challenges.
