Over 200 Gambians were intercepted in separate operations In June and July, by the authorities of Senegal, Mauritania, and Morocco.

Concurrently, efforts were made to facilitate the repatriation of 156 Gambians from Libya.

The government of The Gambia is actively collaborating with Tunisian authorities to ascertain the location and welfare of Gambians in Tunisia, following the emergence of distressing videos on social media.
