A mob in Uromi, Edo state, set ablaze and killed seven suspected kidnappers in a violent attack condemned by Governor Monday Okpebholo.
The victims, identified as northern Hausa hunters, were attacked after local security found guns in their truck, sparking accusations of kidnapping.
Governor Okpebholo has vowed to bring those responsible for the killings to justice, calling the act “barbaric.”
