Health workers across Nigeria have held peaceful protests demanding the release of a medical doctor kidnapped eight months ago in Kaduna, North West of Nigeria.
Dr. Ganiyat was abducted in December 2023, and her family and colleagues feared the worst until a recent ransom demand by her captors rekindled hopes of her survival.
