In Guinea, former Minister of Economy and Finance Mamadi Camara appeared before the Court for Economic and Financial Offenses (CRIEF) for the second time on Monday, April 7, 2025.
Camara is facing serious charges including embezzlement of public funds, money laundering, corruption, and illicit enrichment. During the hearing, the civil party requested the establishment of a commission of experts to conduct a counter-expertise to clarify certain aspects of the ongoing case.
