In a push to boost national development, Mali’s National Transitional Council (CNT) has adopted a decree establishing a mobile phone support fund.

Since the initiative launched in February 2025, it has already generated over 10 billion CFA francs, signaling strong momentum in the government’s innovative financing strategy.

The fund is designed to channel resources into vital development projects aimed at improving the living conditions of Malians, particularly in underserved communities.

Officials say the measure reflects the government’s broader vision to leverage technology for socio-economic advancement.
