Mali’s Independent Election Management Authority met on Monday with political parties and groups.

This follows the lifting of the suspension of the activities of political parties and associations. During the meeting, the AIGE did not give a timetable or date for the presidential election.

Present in the meeting, the members of the March 31 declaration for a return to constitutional order simply slammed the door. They demand the release of the 11 politicians still detained by lifting the suspension of their activities.
