Colonel Assimi Goïta has dismissed his Minister of Agriculture and the Managing Director of the Malian Textile Development Company.
The Malian authorities are not satisfied with the management of the agricultural cotton campaign, which is facing enormous economic difficulties.
Many cotton growers have still not been paid for last year’s harvest.
As a reminder, Mali is trying to regain its position as Africa’s leading cotton-producing country from Benin.
