The Malian opposition has denounced claims that it intimidated members of Synergie d’Action pour le Mali after they went out last week to demonstrate against power cuts and the high cost of living in the country.

In a press release, the coalition opposing the military regime indicated that since the weekend, there have been presence of unidentified individuals around the homes of some of its leaders.

She described this situation as witch-hunting.
