Issa Kaou N’Djim, former vice-president of the National Transitional Council, has been detained after a complaint from Burkina Faso’s Higher Council of Communication. He faces charges of publicly insulting a foreign head of state and using information systems to commit these insults. His trial is scheduled for February 12.
