The February 20 call to save Mali, has denounced the withdrawal of the military authority from ECOWAS tagging illegitimate decisions without the consultation of stakeholders.
In a press release, the movement, which brings together several political parties and civil society organizations, calls for a return to constitutional order and deplores the arbitrary arrests.
Meanwhile, a protest is scheduled later today in solidarity with the transitional authorities’ decision to withdraw the country from the regional body.
