Customs authorities in Mali have confiscated more than 18 kilograms of Cannabis in Diboli, a town near the border with Senegal.
While carrying out road inspections, the customs officers discovered the illicit drugs carefully hidden in a spare tire of a Volvo truck leaving for Senegal.
According to the general customs inspector of the Diboli office, Amadou Konaté, the people hid the packages in the spare tire to deceive the vigilance of customs agents.
Unfortunately, due to the high vigilance of the Malian authorities, the illegal drugs were uncovered.
In total, 25 packages of cannabis, including 0.75 Kilograms per package were detected.
