Mali is hosting the inaugural edition of the International Defense and Security Exhibition, known as BAMEX, in the capital, Bamako.

The event brings together around thirty Turkish companies showcasing advanced weaponry and defense technologies.

Organizers say the exhibition aims to strengthen cooperation between Bamako and Ankara, particularly in defense, cybersecurity, and counter-terrorism.

The gathering highlights Mali’s growing interest in developing strategic defense partnerships amid ongoing regional security challenges.
