In Mali, the Bamako Court of Appeal has set December 16 as the date for its final ruling in the high-profile case involving radio commentator Mohamed Ras Bath and influencer Rose Vie Chère.
The two have been in detention for more than two years—since 2023—facing charges of “undermining the credit of the State” and criminal association. Their case has already passed through the indictment chamber, and the upcoming verdict will determine the next judicial steps.
The prolonged detention and sensitive nature of the charges have kept national attention focused on the proceedings as Malians await the Court’s decision.
