President John Mahama has warned that structures built in waterways will be demolished ahead of the rainy season.

He expressed concern over recent floods after minimal rainfall, emphasizing that such situations cannot continue.

Speaking at Ghana’s Eid-al-Fitr celebrations, he condemned the reckless disregard for planning regulations.

Mahama stressed that authorities will take decisive action to prevent further flood disasters.
