Ghana’s former President and flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Dramani Mahama has outlined a vision for the country’s foreign policy and economic strategy, emphasizing his extensive experience in international relations. In a recent statement during his governance forum, Mr. Mahama highlighted his past roles as chair of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) during critical crises, including those in Burkina Faso, Gambia, and the Ebola pandemic.
He indicated that, should he receive the nod to govern the country, he will facilitate efforts aimed at bringing Burkina Faso, Niger, and Mali back into the ECOWAS fold
