Ghana’s former President John Dramani Mahama visited Nigeria to brief President Bola Tinubu on ECOWAS engagements with the Alliance of Sahel States (AES).
Their discussions focused on the future of ECOWAS as it marks its 50th anniversary and its evolving relationship with the AES bloc.
Mahama, who serves as ECOWAS mediator, emphasized the need for dialogue to maintain regional stability and cooperation.
