The Armed Forces of Liberia (AFL) have launched ‘Operation True Guardian’ to enhance national security as Guinea and Côte d’Ivoire prepare for elections.

The military patrol aims to strengthen border and coastal defenses amid rising political activities in neighboring countries.

Liberia shares borders with Guinea to the north and Côte d’Ivoire to the east, making regional stability a key concern.
