Aggrieved widows of the defunct Armed Forces of Liberia—AFL, have given the government a 24-hour ultimatum to pay them their benefits or risk a mass protest on Friday.
With over 200 widows united in their cause, they are set to disrupt the upcoming inauguration of the new government on Monday unless outgoing President George Weah resolves the issue of their pending benefits.
