The Armed Forces of Liberia has activated its 1st Armored Reconnaissance Battalion and a new Signal Unit, marking a major step in the country’s military modernization efforts.

The activation ceremony took place at the Barclay Training Center in Monrovia and was attended by senior military officials and government representatives. The move highlights Liberia’s renewed focus on improving defense capabilities and operational readiness.
