Students with disabilities at Liberia’s State University are raising concerns over systemic barriers that they say are hindering their academic progress and full participation in university life.
The students cite inadequate mobility access, poor communication from university authorities, and restrictions on their involvement in both physical and academic activities across campus.
The concerns were formally raised by the University of Liberia Association of Students with Disabilities (ULASWD), which says the challenges reflect deeper structural neglect.
They are calling for urgent reforms to create a more inclusive learning environment that guarantees equal access, dignity, and opportunity for all students.
