Supporters of Liberia’s ruling Unity Party staged a peaceful protest outside President Joseph Boakai’s residence in Paynesville on Thursday.
The demonstrators, many of whom served as security for Boakai during his campaign, expressed frustration over unmet job promises.
Holding banners and chanting slogans, they urged the president to fulfill his commitments and provide employment opportunities.
The Unity Party, which campaigned on job creation, now faces mounting pressure to deliver on its pledges.
