Liberia has launched a nationwide education initiative to construct over 100 new schools, focusing on kindergarten and elementary learners.
The $88.6 million “Excellence in Learning in Liberia” project will also upgrade existing facilities to meet modern standards and expand digital learning.
Backed by the World Bank, the initiative aims to boost access to quality education for children in all regions of the country.
Authorities say the move is key to closing learning gaps and strengthening Liberia’s future workforce.
