The Liberia Senate has launched a new Legislative Committee on Population and Development as part of efforts to strengthen national planning.
The initiative is aimed at prioritising the well-being of Liberians through informed policymaking and strategic oversight within the legislature.
According to lawmakers, the committee will work to integrate population dynamics into national development policies to ensure long-term, sustainable growth.
