Liberians across the country joined in a National Day of Prayer and Fasting as President Joseph Boakai called for unity and divine intervention amid ongoing economic challenges.

The observance, part of Liberia’s 178th Independence Day celebrations, focused on healing the nation from decades of civil unrest and division.

In his proclamation, President Boakai urged citizens and foreign residents to reflect on the past and pray for peace, prosperity, and the well-being of every Liberian.
