The Liberia Poultry Federation has voiced serious concerns about a lack of transparency in policies affecting the sector.

At its first stakeholders’ meeting in Monrovia, members from across the poultry industry gathered to review a key policy document drafted in 2018.

Federation President Joseph Kolleh stated that the document needs major revisions to reflect current realities and sector needs.

Participants included hatchery operators, farmers, feed processors, and veterinarians, all calling for clearer governance.
