In Liberia, public calls for swift justice are intensifying following the alleged sexual assault of a 16-year-old boy in Monrovia.
A preliminary police report indicates that in early January 2026, Peter Jallah, identified as a former agent of the National Security Agency, along with other individuals, allegedly took the teenager to a beach in the capital where the assault occurred. The victim was reportedly left abandoned afterward.
The case has sparked widespread concern among citizens and rights advocates, who are demanding a thorough investigation and accountability for those implicated.
Authorities say investigations are ongoing, as the victim’s family seeks justice and appropriate medical care for the teenager.
