Liberia has officially launched its campaign for re-election to Category A of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) Council.
The campaign began with a Boat-Launch Reception on the Thames River in London, attended by representatives of IMO member states and maritime organizations.
Liberia, a longstanding IMO member since 1949, is banking on its legacy as the world’s largest maritime registry to secure re-election.
Ambassador Robert Kpadeh underscored the country’s continued adherence to global maritime standards and its commitment to international cooperation.
