In Liberia, stakeholders have convened in Monrovia to launch a sexual and gender-based violence awareness campaign.

The initiative follows recent statistics indicating a 30 percent rise in reported SGBV cases over the past year, affecting mainly women and children.

The campaign, led by Liberia Crusaders for Peace in collaboration with the Ministries of Gender and Social Protection and Health, as well as UNICEF, highlights the urgent need to protect vulnerable populations.
