The West Africa College of Physicians has called for stronger inter-sectoral collaboration to address the growing health challenges confronting the region.
This appeal was made during the College’s 9th Annual General and Scientific Meeting, held in Monrovia, Liberia’s capital. The event drew medical experts and stakeholders from across West Africa.
Centered on the theme “A Closer Look at the Health System: Inter-sectoral Collaboration for Improving Health Indicators,” the conference explored systemic weaknesses affecting healthcare delivery and the need for coordinated responses.
Delegates stressed that only through partnership among governments, health institutions, and other sectors can the region make meaningful progress in improving health outcomes.
