The Managing Director for Africa at the Millennium Challenge Corporation is in Liberia to begin preparatory work toward the country’s upcoming compact development.
The visit marks another step in strengthening the partnership between Liberia and the United States, as discussions focus on national development priorities.
During her stay, MCC Africa Managing Director Carrie Monahan is meeting with government officials, civil society groups, and private sector leaders to identify potential projects for the compact.
Her engagements are also centered on advancing economic growth and reducing poverty through targeted investments in infrastructure, agriculture, and education.
