Tension is building up at the National Election Commission of Liberia as Employees Demand Accountability, Transparency in Budget Handling Amidst Unpaid Benefit.
With growing discontent within the National Elections Commission (NEC), about 300 employees have come together to demand immediate action on budget transparency in line with the commission’s current resolution for outstanding benefits, including hazard allowances insurance benefits, and other financial needs stemming from the 2023 general and presidential elections.
