Liberia and China have officially broken ground on a major infrastructure project to ease traffic congestion in Monrovia’s busy Tubman Boulevard corridor.
The project, valued at over $40 million, will see the construction of two overhead bridges aimed at improving traffic flow and transportation efficiency in the capital.
Funded through China aid, the initiative stems from ongoing bilateral cooperation between the two countries to support Liberia’s infrastructure development.
High-ranking officials from both governments attended the ceremony, marking the start of what is expected to be a transformative project for urban mobility.
