INTERVIEW – Political Expert Urges Electorates to believes in the EC for a transparent Poll
With stakes very high ahead of Ghana’s 2024 general elections, the electoral commission has expressed commitment to make available the final compiled voter register list to the political parties in the first week of November, 2024.
Already, the opposition and other civil society groups have expressed concern about the ongoing online voter re-exhibition exercise which is expected to end on Saturday October 19, by the commission as one that will not help achieve a complete and holistic voter participation as a majority of people will be deprived.
However, political science lecture with the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi Dr. Kwasi Amakye-Boateng believes though the November set date for release of the compiled voter register, Ghanaians should have trust and believes in the EC for a transparent, free and fair
