Nigeria hosts the high-level African counter-terrorism summit in the capital Abuja.
In attendance will be various African heads of state and government, international organization representatives, diplomats, and civil society members.
The summit, under the auspices of the Nigerian government with support from the United Nations Office of Counterterrorism (UNOCT), aims to enhance multilateral counter-terrorism cooperation and reshape the international community’s collective response to terrorism in Africa while emphasizing the importance of African-led and African-owned solutions.
