Our Wednesday edition of DAYBREAK West Africa features Dr. Philipa Idogho, a Nigerian academic administrator and former rector of Auchi Polytechnic in Edo State, Nigeria.
Dr. Idogho recently visited WADR during a study tour to the radio station in Dakar, organized for students and staff from the University of Education, The Gambia.
She currently provides technical support to the institution, focusing on its transition from a college to a university. Her role encompasses designing policies, establishing frameworks, and implementing safeguards to ensure the effective functioning of the emerging university.
As an education professional, Dr. Idogho emphasizes the critical role of quality education as the foundation for building productive, industrial societies, particularly within the context of the technical aid assistance program.
She also shared insights into her experiences with cultural differences and the process of social integration.
