Interpol has dismantled a vast cybercriminal network operating across Africa in a major operation dubbed “Red Card.”

Conducted between November 2024 and February 2025, the operation led to the arrest of hundreds of individuals involved in cyber fraud, online scams, and digital extortion.

Authorities also identified thousands of victims, highlighting the growing threat of cybercrime across the continent.
