A civil society organisation, Info Quest Liberia is challenging President Joseph Boaki to walk the talk by making public his assets he declared before the Anti-corruption body.
At the height of the 2023 political campaign activities in Liberia that brought Boakai to power, he vowed to declare and make public his assets if elected.
However he is yet to honour his words months after he was elected into office. Executive Director for Info Quest Matthias Yeanay argues the President’s refusal to make public his assets undermines transparency, accountability and his overall fight against corruption.
