In many conflict-affected areas not just in Africa but across the world, the intensity or magnitude of damage done to settlements shows in multiple ways such as deaths, displacement and the humanitarian crisis.
Also, the quality of public services including access to healthcare, education, and sanitation and even infrastructures are severely disrupted.
The result of these all together is pain, frustration and starvation the populations faces while the state’s ability or capacity to cater for its citizens is limited.
