The United Nations International School of Hanoi (UNIS Hanoi) defines peer pressure as the influence that peers exercise over each other’s attitudes, beliefs, and behaviours.

It can take various forms, such as encouraging friends to engage in risky activities, conforming to group norms, or changing one’s views to align with those of their peers.

Importantly, peer pressure can be divided into two categories: negative and positive.

In this edition, our guests will share their insights on peer pressure among young people, discussing its influences and effects, as well as suggesting ways to address this challenge.
