The International Monetary Fund, IMF has revised upwards, Ghana’s projected 2024 economic growth from 2.8% to 3.1%. Ghana’s economy grew by 4.7% in the first quarter of 2024, the highest in two years.
According to the IMF, despite a difficult global economic environment, Ghana’s reforms are bearing fruits, and signs of economic stabilization are emerging.
The IMF also identified that growth has proven more resilient than initially envisaged; while Inflation is declining rapidly from its 2022 highs.
