In Guinea, there will be no local, legislative, or presidential elections in 2024.
This decision was announced by the Prime Minister over the weekend.
However, he stated that a referendum will be organised by the end of the year to establish a new constitution for Guinea.
According to Bah Oury, the revision of the electoral register from 2020, as desired by the opposition, is not currently on the agenda. Instead, he announced an administrative census.
