The Guinean government has announced that it will completely clean up the political landscape by drastically reducing the number of political parties.
According to the transitional authorities, the process of evaluating political parties has shown that several political groups do not meet the standards defined by the charter of political parties.
The evaluation report has been strongly contested by the political coalitions who already suspect the government of wanting to use this report to withdraw the approvals of political groups opposed to the current management of the transition by the military.
