The Guinean Press Professionals Union (SPPG) has reported at least 70 attacks on press freedom in 2024.

In its annual report released on Tuesday, the union highlighted multiple judicial and administrative abuses against journalists.

The report raises concerns over increasing restrictions on media freedom in the country.
