Widespread outrage has erupted in Guinea following the abduction of UFDG activist Néné Oussou Diallo.
She was reportedly taken from her home on the night of Thursday, January 8 into Friday, January 9, 2025, by armed and hooded individuals.
In a statement, UFDG President Cellou Dalein Diallo demanded her immediate release and accused the ruling military authorities of responsibility.
Several human rights organisations have also condemned the incident, describing it as another case of abduction in the country.
