The Guinean government confirmed 13 fatalities and 178 injuries from the ghastly fire incident, late on Monday.
According to Dr. Oumar Diouhé Bah, the Minister of Health and Public Hygiene, the victims include both Guinean citizens and foreign nationalities.
The minister revealed that effective medical treatment has allowed 89 of the total injured persons to reunite with their families.
