Victims of the September 28, 2009 massacre in Guinea and their families are urging the transitional government to restart stalled legal proceedings.
In a letter to President Mamady Doumbouya, the group appealed for justice, citing deep frustration over the abrupt halt of investigations launched in January 2023.
The massacre, which occurred under former President Alpha Condé’s regime, left over 150 people dead and hundreds injured.
Families say accountability remains critical for healing and national reconciliation.
