Debates on the transition extention in Mali and Guinea is growing by the day.
For Mali, a national dialogue boycotted by the opposition- suggested that the current military rule should continue for more years and that military ruler Assimi Goita should bid when elections are held.
This was largely part of the recommendations included in the document submitted to Asimi Goita.
On the other hand, Guinea is already making it clear that it will extend the transition period beyond the December 2024 deadline.
