Guinea’s Court for the Repression of Economic and Financial Crimes (CRIET) has ordered the transfer of former Prime Minister Ibrahima Kassory Fofana to a specialized center for advanced medical care.
The former PM has been under investigation for two years, facing charges of embezzlement, illicit enrichment, money laundering, corruption, and complicity.
Authorities emphasize the move is part of efforts to ensure his well-being while the legal process continues.
