The diplomatic community comprising designated ambassadors to Guinea, are protesting against the internet cut and restrictions on social networking.
Other concerns raised include the jamming of the frequencies of some of the country’s private media.
They argued these measures are counterproductive and would undermine Guineans’ freedom of expression, and admonished the military authority to immediately lift the restrictions.
However, the head of Guinean diplomacy Dr Morrisanda Kouyate, who officially received their complaints, informed the diplomats of the reason behind the restriction.
